This morning, Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and broke the news of Rishi Kapoor’s sad demise. The news not only shook the film fraternity friends but also his fans across the nation. The veteran actor 67 and is survived by wife and yesteryear’s actress Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor, who’s married to industrialist Bharat Sahni. After suffering with prolonged illness, the actor succumbed to Leukemia. As the family is preparing for the funeral of actor, family has been advised to not take his mortal remains home. 

Now, here’s the latest updated about the actor’s funeral. If latest reports are anything to go by, Mumbai Police has requested Rishi Kapoor’s family to not take his mortal remains home. The move has come in force as the nation-wide lockdown has been imposed to curb the multiplication of Coronavirus.  According to a repot in Times Of India, Mumbai Police is urging Rishi Kapoor’s family to not take his mortal remains home. 

A while back, SpotboyE exclusively told you that veteran actor’s cremation will take place in Marine Line’s Chandanwadi crematorium. We told you his last rites will take place at the Chandanwadi crematorium in town. And the family will leave for the funeral anytime now.

Meanwhile, a few mins ago, his daughter Riddhima Kapoor, who’s in Delhi and desperately wants to attend father’s funeral in Mumbai, posted an emotional post for dearest papa. Sharing a cute picture she wrote alongside, “Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday!
